ABOUT ME

Hi, I am Amy, I am an OFSTED registered childminder based in Leyland, Lancashire, offering a safe and nurturing space in the comforts of my own home. I am 32 and I live with my partner (we are both DBS approved) and we have a beautiful 10 month old son who is just the best! 



I have been a newborn and child photographer for over 10 years and I have enjoyed every minute of motherhood and child interaction, so much that I knew working with children was the future for me. I am a huge family person and I have two wonderful nephews aged 10 and 13, who I have regularly looked after since them being babies. Therefore I have a lot of experience of working with children of various ages and this has helped me to understand the needs of children.

I have been childminding ever since my little one turned 2 months old and it is the best decision I ever made. I have a lovely little gang ranging from 0-3 years of age and we have lots of fun, experiencing and exploring lots of places and getting creative with lots of different crafts.

I am qualified in Home Based Childcare, Safeguarding and First Aid. I keep regularly updated with any required and relevant training.

I live on the Fernleigh estate in Leyland, which is close to local parks and beautiful walks, great for children to explore throughout the different times of year. I have a large back garden where your child/children can utilise my various outdoor toys and interactive resources, perfect to help the developments and learning of your little ones.
